Lavendar contains a substance called linalool, which has been shown to slow nerve impulses. Becuase of this, lavendar eases tension and even helps muscle spasms. This is a great potion to drink when you finish work, just before going to bed, or anytime to relieve stress. Relieveing stress is a keuy component in staying healthy longer.
You will need a teaspoon of lavender herbs and a cup of boiling water. Put the lavender herbs in the cup of boiling water. As you do this, say:
Water of life and fragrant lavender so sweet
Empower this potion with your healing power.
As I will, so shall it be!
Let the potion steep for fifteen minutes. Strain out the herbs and sip the mixture slowly. As you sip the potion, imagine all the stress being washed from your body by the fragrant, healing lavender water.
